Professional Understanding for NFPA - CESW

(NFPA – Commissioning of Electrical Systems and Wiring)

Duration: 36 Hours

  • 6 Days × 6 Hours per Day
  •  or 9 Days × 4 Hours per Day
  • or 12 Days × 3 Hours per Day

Overview

This intensive 36-hour diploma program is designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive and practical understanding of NFPA-CESW (Commissioning of Electrical Systems and Wiring) standards. The training focuses on the planning, testing, documentation, and validation of electrical systems in compliance with NFPA requirements and industry best practices. It also emphasizes risk assessment, functional performance, and coordination of safety-critical components such as grounding, overcurrent protection, emergency systems, and wiring integrity.

Through a combination of theory, case studies, simulations, and practical exercises, participants will gain the competencies necessary to manage, supervise, or conduct commissioning activities for electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.

Prerequisites

  • Background in electrical engineering, safety engineering, or facilities management
  • Prior knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) is recommended but not mandatory
  • Basic understanding of construction practices and electrical safety

Who Should Attend

  • Electrical engineers and consultants
  • Commissioning engineers and project managers
  • Safety and facility managers
  • QA/QC engineers in MEP or EPC companies
  • Electrical inspectors and NFPA compliance officers
