Overview:
This diploma program is designed to provide fire protection professionals, engineers, and safety officers with a comprehensive understanding of the NFPA standards relevant to water-based fire protection systems, with a primary focus on the Certified Water-Based Systems Professional (CWBSP) credential framework.
Participants will explore all applicable NFPA codes and standards such as NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 15, NFPA 16, NFPA 20, NFPA 22, NFPA 24, and NFPA 25, with detailed practical interpretation, design review, system components, inspection, testing, and maintenance procedures.
Prerequisites:
- Basic knowledge of fire protection systems
- Background in mechanical, civil, or fire safety engineering is preferred
- Understanding of NFPA 101 and NFPA 72 is an advantage
